DESCRIPTION

This program is an AutoCAD release12 add-on that enables the user
to draw layers of dots identical to those created by the pattern "dot"
of the command "bhatch". What's the point of it, then?. Well, it takes
approximately one hundredth of the amount of memory of the original
pattern included in AutoCAD 12.

HOW TO USE IT

Take the following steps within AutoCAD's drawing editor

	Command: (load"dots") *

	Command: dots12

Scale factor: (value must be positive and nonzero)

The dialog box of the command "bhatch" will pop up on screen.
Define the area to be shaded but don't modify the hatch options
angle, scale or pattern. They have already been set.

* Make sure the file DOTS.LSP is in an AutoCAD's working directory.
Otherwise, specify the full path using double //, i.e (load"a://dots").
You may use any alternative application loader.

The results may not be visible to human eye. Use the commands
"zoom" and "regen" to check it.

WARNING

If you change AutoCAD's variable "ltscale" after using DOTS.LSP,
the uniform layer of dots will get in total disarray. You will have to
erase it and draw it again.
The file DOTTED.LIN generated by the use of this routine can be
erased at any time. It will not have any effect in your drawing.
